Registered Classing Houses are an important part of the raw wool supply chain.

They are business entities that typically aggregate small portions of wool from farm into saleable quantities.

Wool Classers on farm will often class out small portions of wool that does not match wool in other lines. These portions are packed in bale(s) (described as Bulk Class) with the portions separated by paper. These portions are then delivered to and unpacked at a Classing House facility who matches each portion with similar wool from other farms (to aggregate saleable quantities).
