AWEX's Wool Services Division works to maintain industry standards and compliance with regard to clip preparation and presentation for sale, thereby enhancing the quality and integrity of the Australian wool clip.

AWEX is committed to ensuring that wool traded in Australia meets international customer standards and that these standards are communicated to all those involved in the supply chain.

This commitment starts on-farm with the registration of Woolclassers and the maintenance of wool pack and woolclassing standards. It carries on through the supply chain by governing Sampling Sites and Showfloors as well as registering Appraisers for the application of AWEX-ID.

All AWEX standards are supported by a rigorous certification processes as well as up-to-date and relevant education.
